Role in Company: Area Manager, Cardiff
My role in Arc is to manage our office in Cardiff. My role is to ensure that we achieve our operational and recruitment goals as well as working with our other Area Managers and Directors to grow the entire UK business.
When did you start working with the company?
I joined ARC Hospitality as a Recruitment & Staffing Coordinator at the London Office in December 2016.
I had the desire to pursue a career in HR/Recruitment, so whilst studying CIPD Human Resources at a local college I came across the role with ARC.
My previous experience is working at stadiums since the 2012 Olympics in Cardiff where I progressed from Catering Assistant to Retail Supervisor over the 4 years I was working the venues in Cardiff.
I also had experience at working at a global and iconic attraction, The London Eye. I worked here as Hospitality & Retail host through summer 2014 and after graduation in April 2017 where I progressed to Retail Team Leader.
Since working for ARC, I have gained a variety of experience working in recruitment and staffing major events at the most prestigious venues across London.
In October 2017, I made the move back to Cardiff to head up the operations there as Area Manager which is where I am based currently.
What is it that you love about Arc?
What I love about ARC is how fast paced the role is and that no day is the same. During busy times such as Christmas or a month of busy events during the year, the whole teams pulls together and helps another area out where possible in terms of recruitment and staffing.
The 2nd thing I love about ARC is working with such iconic venues such as the Principality Stadium where we have held the Champions League Finals, Anthony Joshua Boxing, Rugby events & music events from superstars such as Coldplay, Beyonce & Robbie Williams.
