Our Story

Our story starts in June 2008 when we were incorporated with the intention of becoming the country's best hospitality recruitment agency.

At first we only had one client but it was a good one: Liverpool Football Club. Michael had worked there since he was 16 in the staffing department on match-days and saw an opportunity to better the standard of service previous suppliers had provided. Luckily they decided to give us a chance and we haven't looked back since. Our relentless appetite for delivery began to lead to more and more opportunities as clients spoke to each other about us. This growth led us to open new premises in Liverpool city centre enabling us to serve a larger catchment area. Business has continued to grow ever since and we are now established as one of the best in our industry in the North West of England.

Meet the Team

Michael set up the business in Liverpool City Centre during the summer of 2008 with Paul, a friend and housemate from University joining in October 2008.

Paul, after a stint in Investment Banking in London, decided to move up North and join Arc as it appealed to his entrepreneurial spirit and love of business. Over the next year Paul and Michael learnt the hospitality trade from the bottom up working countless shifts and attending numerous training sessions. Gradually we began to pick up new clients as our commitment to delivery and the quality of our staff began to be recognised. Clients were impressed by our new approach to the industry and our refusal to conform to outdated ideas on price, training and recruitment.

Megan joined us in June 2011 after graduating from the University of Liverpool in Mathematics and two years of outstanding work as a temporary member of staff. This coincided with our move to larger premises in Liverpool City Centre. We are now well placed to service more clients in the hospitality, catering and leisure industries and will hopefully continue to flourish through practising our core company values of staff care, honesty and success in everything we do!
